Peru Trip

In January 2010, our glass artist Corey Hubbell will be going on a trip to Peru organized by Eastlake Church. This trip has been organized in order to bring aid to El Refugio de Esperanza (The Refuge of Hope), a school for handicapped children. The school helps to educate handicapped children so that they may become self-sustaining individuals with a place in normal society. This is done through primary education, as well as through vocational training.

The school desperately needs help with general upkeep and repairs. Corey and his group will be painting, landscaping and replacing walls. The group will also be building a fence to help expand the tree planting program that helps the school more towards achieving economic stability.
